The nickname of polyethylene film is also closely related to its classification. The following are the main types and corresponding industry terms:

Sort by density
LDPE film (low-density polyethylene): soft and highly transparent, often used in packaging bags and agricultural greenhouse films;

HDPE film (high-density polyethylene): high hardness, corrosion-resistant, mostly used for engineering anti-seepage membranes or heavy-duty packaging;

LLDPE film (linear low-density polyethylene): It has strong puncture resistance and is the main raw material of stretch film.

Named by process
Blown film: made by blow molding process, commonly found in supermarket shopping bags;

Cast film: The surface is smoother and used for high-end packaging (such as electronic product protective film).

Anti-fog film: Add anti-fog agent for fresh-keeping packaging of fruits and vegetables;

Degradable film: Another name for environmentally friendly PE film containing photolytic or biodegradable components.
